Special Guests
David Brooks
David Brooks writes about political, social, and cultural trends, the clash of ideas and the always tricky subject of moral formation. He is the author of several books, including The Second Mountain: The Quest for a Moral Life and How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen. He regularly appears on PBS NewsHour, NPR’s All Things Considered, and NBC’s Meet the Press. He is a columnist at The New York Times, a contributor to The Atlantic and a commentator on PBS NewsHour. He also teaches at the University of Chicago, having previously taught at Yale and Duke universities.
Andy Crouch
Andy Crouch is a partner for theology and culture at Praxis, a venture-building ecosystem advancing redemptive entrepreneurship. His writing explores faith, culture, and the image of God in the domains of technology, power, leadership, and the arts. He is the author of numerous books, including The Life We’re Looking For: Reclaiming Relationship in a Technological World and Playing God: Redeeming the Gift of Power, and Culture Making: Recovering Our Creative Calling. Andy serves on the governing board of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
